Dr. Michael Hopkins,
Founder MHCI,
Dr. Michael Hopkins is Chairman and Partner of MHCi, has worked in the Corporate sector (IBM and ITT), the United Nations (ILO, UNDP, WFP), The World Bank and in Academia (IDS Sussex, QEH Oxford, Harvard, Middlesex, Geneva, GMU, Brunel) and has held a number of Professorships (Middlesex, Brunel, GMU). He is a PhD economist with a strong focus upon measurement, employment issues and executive education especially in emerging market economies. Since leaving the UN (ILO) he founded, and is CEO, of MHCi and its subsidiary the CSR and Financial Institute (CSRFI), founded the Arabia CSR Awards and 'founded and directed for six years University of Geneva's CSR Executive Training. He advised the USA Chamber of Commerce's Corporate Citizenship Programme as well as spends his time spreading his particular brand of CSR around the world. He has published over 120 articles in journals, is a regular contributor to CSRwire, and is the author of 13 books of which two on CSR featured on the home page. He is included in the 2011 top thought leaders in Europe and the Middle East in influencing the social, economic and sustainability of companies and invited as founder member in 2013 of Alliance of Trustworthy Business Experts. In 2013 he was included in the top 100 thought leaders across the world.


Dr. V. Raghunathan
V. Raghunathan serves as Chief Executive Officer of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, which over the last nine years, he has steered towards several prestigious awards. He features among the top 50 Global Indian Management Thinkers of Thinkers Magazine, 2013. Dr. Raghunathan has also served as the President of ING Vysya Bank Ltd., Bangalore (2001 to 2004); as Professor of Finance and Accounting in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (1982 – 2001); and also as Managing Director, GMR Industries Ltd (2007-2008). Raghunathan is a renowned author and columnist in India with 12 books and over 500 papers and articles to his credit. He sits on numerous boards and has been on several national level committees of SEBI, Ministry of Finance, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India etc. He is an Adjunct Professor at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy, and at Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto, Canada, and lectures extensively worldwide. He is also a hobbyist with perhaps the largest collection of padlocks in India. Dr. Raghunathan holds a Doctorate in Management from IIM, Calcutta.

Mr. Andrews Gimms

Mr Andrews is a seasoned senior management professional with a proven record of establishing highly motivated, cohesive and effective teams, policies and systems to execute high impact sustainable development programmes. In 1994 Gimms started his journey in the development sector and was instrumental in building HOPE foundation in India.

He was involved in various grassroots level program implementation like setting up of orphanages, slum schools, vocational training, leprosy rehab, child survival etc. His disaster relief and rehabilitation experience with the 2001 Bhuj earthquake and the 2004 Asian Tsunami was significant. After being with HOPE for around 18 years, Gimms decided to branch out. Then for nearly two years he headed Mission for Vision, a Trust based out of Mumbai focused on eradicating curable blindness among the rural poor of India.

Gimms also holds an MBA degree from Stratford University, USA.


Mr. Satish Jha
An alumnus of JNU, The Fletcher School, ISS at The Hague, the Kennedy School and EDHEC, France with education in economics, political economy of development, international affairs, government of science and business management, Satish Jha has been learning with a dream to see India contribute at the apex of its potential. . After teaching at the Indian Institute of a Public Administration (IIPA) and the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) Hyderabad, he joined the Indian Express Group to head the Research Bureau of The Financial Express, co-founded Janasatta, a national Hindi Daily noted for its pathbreaking journalism in both style and content and was appointed to lead the prestigious weekly Dinamaan of The Times of India Group as the youngest national editor at the time​.​Later, following his management education as the charter batch of an MIT Sloan School and a European Consortium to develop information managers of tomorrow, he was appointed to lead the global information management for the chemicals division of Hoffmann-La Roche, an experience that helped him co-found James Martin & Co, META Group India, Digital Partners India and he seeded, advised and mentored a couple of dozen social enterprises focusing on using technologies for development of rural India, including, DESI Power, Drishtee etc.
